Counting days had never been this exciting. This is practically the next most exciting countdown I've ever had after my countdown till my wedding. I can't wait to be an official bum. And yes it all happens on the 26th of this month. A great way to start the Chinese New Year. Feng Shui. To get rid of bad vibes. Hahaha! I don't even know if I used Feng Shui correctly. Oh well, semantics.
My BDJ planner had been working wonders since 2009 started. I have written under the 2009 Career Goals, "To land on a job without the word 'Assistant' on the title", and yes, I decided to turn my back on my current job. Because of the word 'assistant' in my title. I need growth. I need a promotion. Since the word 'promotion' is not a household name in our office, it's about time to move on.
Right now I am venturing the world of remote careers. Virtual jobs and the like. I wonder how's it like to work for someone oceans apart from you. It will be terrific. Distance is a good factor to eliminate pressure. I can't wait to work for a company earth's-radius-far away from me.
I can't wait to party.
